I REMEMBER
Lorelei Kryzanek, loves poetry. In fact, she loves it so much that she has spent her life memorizing the poems of Robert Lewis Stevenson. She believes everyone should practice memorizing and has a game that she plays with visitors to her home. She places 20 random items on her dining table. Then at some point she covers the items and asks everyone to write down the items. Sometimes people can’t even remember one! She tell us, “the more you use your brain, the more brain you have to use”.
MEMORIES OF MENTORSHIP
Joe Nickelson told us about three mentors in his life. An early mentor was Charlie, who gave him support as a child playing sports. As an adult, Chris was a mentor for his early work life in real estate. Finally, Cheri has assumed a mentor role when it comes to gluten-free eating and living. We are never too old to have mentors in our lives, and they can smooth out our paths and provide support during those rough moments.
