Rocky & Self Esteem
A WEEKEND GETAWAY
Jacob Johnson told us a story of an old family friend – Rocky. This twenty year friendship began with a first-time ride on a horse, and then being given the task of driving cattle. They have shared turkey hunts and described how often they were taunted by birds with aggressive gobbles. He gave us a vision of missing them by a “turkey’s beard hair”.
SELF ESTEEM VS SELF CONFIDENCE
Katharine Miller gave us a definition and the difference between self confidence and self esteem. Self esteem is how you see yourself. It’s an inward viewing and looking to see if you are an acceptable person. Self confidence is an outward viewing image in which you engage with the world. You are able to trust yourself.
