WHO DO I WANT TO BE?
Robert Schluter had a successful career in the Navy, subsequently in business as well. As President and Founder of Element 1, he still takes time to reflect on his life, and asks “Who do I want to be?” His self-reflections have him forging his own path, not being influenced by other’s judgements and opinions. He encourages us to seek our own paths as well.
LESSONS IN LEADERSHIP
Joe Nickelson gave us reflections on his past year as President of Communicators Plus. He spoke about the self-awareness of personal strength and weaknesses. Learning to listen and learn about our club members and their Toastmaster goals. He urged everyone to step up and grow by assuming a leadership position in the club.
